Retrobike Touring.

I'd missed the lack of rear lugs. Indeed it's often more lowly mid-range frames that actually make better tourers. A heavier tubeset that feels a little leaden becomes stable and accurate for a tourer. The shorter top tubes of non-race-orientated frames is also an advantage.

Capable but not necessarily called upon... ;-)

I'm being dragged to Disneyland in June. I mean, yipee, I can not wait. Honest. When I get back I may take a couple of days out to bimble along the the Grand Union anal (the 'C' is quickly removed from the signs) and wild camp as the opportunity arises.

Two weeks in Scotland, no rain to speak of - yippee! I rode about 800 miles.
