I have a 1988 Ridgeback 602LX competition series MTB (white with blue paint flecks), that I have owned from new. I even have the original handbook.
It has been regularly used, though not that often in recent years, still gets used occasionally as a fair weather commuter. Unfortunately the time has come when we must part ways, as I just don’t have room for it anymore…
Before I put it up for sale I wanted to ask some advice
Some years back I converted it to V brakes, but I still have the original cantilevers and brake levers. If I am going to sell it do you think I should refit the original brakes and put it back to the original spec as much as possible? Or should I just advertise it as is with a bag of bits…
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks
