So I help out at this community workshop fixing old bikes up and often get to find some nice rides. I was looking through the pile and I think I've found my next project from what I can see its all there. I don't read a lot of chat on here about Diamond Back's are they to be avoid. I think this one is an Apex ?. I know there is a Marin in the shot as well but I can have a choice of those later :D

They've been a bit over looked (or maybe a well kept secret?). Not sure if the quality went down hill in later years or something else happened to put people off the brand, but I like my '92 Response and the Axis has always been a respected bike.

Not many of them on the forum though.

They were awesome back in the 90's. But faced bankruptcy in about 2001 and concentrated their efforts on the low end mass market, hence the lack of knowledge. Raced by many, Nick Craig was one I remember. :D
