Mayflower - Kids Bike 1969-1972 (totalled by my younger brother)
Raleigh Chico - 1972-1977 (Stolen)
Royal Enfield Club - 1977 - 1986 - got my car licence. Frame broke and ended up at the tip.
Raleigh Mustang - 1988 (missed cycling, bought from Littlewoods club book. Bought first issue of MBUK traded it in for the Timberline)
GT Timberline - 1989 (first proper mountain bike, joined Bristol Offroad Mountain Bike Club - was stolen when I moved to Bournemouth)
Proflex 453 - 1994 - 1997 (Stolen from Garden shed)
Proflex Reptile - 1997 (still have the frame in my garage. Began Riding with Dorset Roughriders.)
Santa Cruz Heckler X - 1999 (being rebuilt)
Merlin Hard tail 1999 (the online bike shop not a proper Merlin! Used cheap 2nd hand Marzocchi Z4 forks and bits from the Reptile - Stolen in 200:cool:
Ringmaster Unicycle - 1999 (still got and will learn to ride it one day!)
Stopped Riding in 2000 due to the Foot and Mouth keeping us off the trails.
Santa Cruz Blur LT - 2012 (still got)
Specialized Camber Comp 29er - 2014 (still got. Re-joined Dorset Roughriders.)
Cannondale Synapse 5 road Bike 2015 (in shed ridden it twice - hate it!)
Brompton - 2015 (still got and ride regularly - great fun)
Raleigh Chopper - 2015 (impulse buy of a 1974 original, sold it on after nearly killing myself as brakes just useless!)
Raleigh Chopper - 2015 (another impulse buy - a reissue - still in the shed!)
Reid Zeus Fat Bike - 2015 (my winter mud ride and the only one in the country)
Scott E-Genius 910 - 2016 (my current main ride as health issues mean I need the boost to keep up with folk)
2016 Retro bike purchases
Yeti Arc - 1994 (too small for me and not in good nick, will fettle for my sister in law)
Mountain Cycles San Andreas - not sure of year and needs a bit of work
Proflex 856 - 1996 and virtually mint, original tyres and brake pads and has owners manual and letter saying it was a magazine competition prize.
Proflex 857 - 1997 needs shock work so bought some replacements from Noleen.
Proflex 856 - 1996 got too many modern bits will break and combine with next 2
Proflex XPS - Year not known but got a dent and crease in frame so will break and combine with other 2
Proflex 856 - 1996 again too many modern parts but will break with other 2 above
X-Lite Titanium Pro - not sure of year but beautiful build by someone on here just brilliant
Orange Clockwork - 1994 - nearly got all the bits I needed to bring it back to original (need a period fork)
Orange Patriot - 1999 - Frame only which has been sprayed beautifully as a theme item, going to build it up as a modern 11 speed.
Orange Patriot - 2002 - full bike which I will strip and get the frame done as another theme bike, think Orange County Choppers style paint job/colour coordinated parts.

When current projects finished and I've sold a load of bits to replenish the bike fund will be looking for a Pace and a GT Zaskar and further Titaniums and a K2 5500!

Re:

Here's my rather pathetic list compared to those above!! racking my brain....

1992 ish - Al Carter Sidewinder. My first mountain bike. IIRC, it ran 200GS although my proudest moment was replacing the front mech with an XT one. Should have kept that at least!! I think it just died and being young (and stupid) I cut the frame up and made stuff from the tubes...

1993 - Al Carter Black Panther. I bent the forks so I replaced them with a set of Orange Aluminium O forks bought from 2XS in West Wittering. Unfortunately stolen from a friends garage.

1994 - insurance money from above theft paid for half of a '93 Kona Explosif, bought second hand from Butler Cycles in Portsmouth. It had Pace RC35's and I blame this for my Pace obsession in the years since. Sold to a mate as I wanted a full suspension and recently trying to track it down for repatriation!!

1996 - Club Roost (who?!!) full susser. Possibly a DH8 looking on Google but cannot be sure. Broke the swing arm off and under warranty received a different model without the shock linkage. Broke that and they gave me a hard tail!! Had the god awful ZZYZX forks on all three but part ex'd them in for something (anything!!) else. Bought a set of limited edition Eddie Irvine RC36's to go on this. The most beautiful forks ever, I wish I had kept them....

1997 - Pace RC200 F1, RC35 AB's. Bought second hand from Rock 'n' Road, Portsmouth. Full XT and had this for years before selling it on here after the seat tube cracked.

1998 - Bought an RC200 F8 frame in red from Rock 'n' Road in Portsmouth. Paid a small fortune building from scratch with full XT, Hope discs and initially ran the EI RC36's but the disc conversion kit didn't really work so sold them on :( and bought a set of RC36 ProClass II's to run Hope C2's. Briefly ran RC31's but sold them on and went back to the RC36 PCII's. Still have this frame/bike but very recently found two terminal cracks so soon to be a wall hangar....Maybe i'll fix her one day.

1999 - Klein Attitude Dolomite. Came with Bullseye hubs and a cook Bros crank but randomly sold this and put XTR on it...Finally had my dream bike but it wasn't to last. Stolen from a pub, really shouldn't take expensive bikes out when drinking...

2004 - Convinced a friend to buy an RC300 (in red, natch) that I had seen in a shop and then convinced him to sell it to me!! Converted to single speed with RC31's and Hope Mono Mini's. A great bike and I loved it but had an attack of financial remorse (had too many bikes!! - although compared to the above posts clearly not!!) and sold her on here. I really should have kept this one too.

2006 ish - bought another Klein Attitude Dolomite but just F and F. Built this up as a Weight Weenie special and managed to get her down to 14.9 lb!! Unusable though so sold on after the fun of the build had subsided.

2013 - acquired an old Peugeot road bike from a colleague at work. Converted to single speed and repainted in white Team colours. Classic retro styling and one to keep as it only cost a couple of hundred to build but stolen..

2015 - Giant Propel Advanced Pro 2 road bike with Ultegra for easier rides to work (and preserving my ageing aluminium mountain bike). Lovely bike and it's surprising how nice a brand new bike feels compared to the old stuff!!

2016 - 1993 Kona Explosif soon to be picked up. Not my old one but the same model and with Pace forks of course!!

Re:

70's trike - wore the wheels out.
70's gaspipe clunker of some sort.
Early 80's Dawes Lightning.
Mid 80's Raleigh Burner.
1986 Carlton Carrera - from new and still own it.
Late 80's cheap MTB called 'free spirit' i think..
1996 Kona Lava Dome - from new and still own it.
1999 Kona Hei Hei - still own it.
1995 Kona Cinder Cone - still own it.
1993 Marin Pine Mountain - still own it.
Now thinking to buy a fancy new carbon road bike but i have a problem spending a lot of money on a flimsy thing with little intrinsic value after owning proper bikes which last a lifetime.
