Re:

Hi Steve,

The 1991 dx was a grey and pearl white fade, see the two in my signature.

The 1991 lx was white.

The 1992 dx was red.

Gil_m should have decals on file.

One of mine had a bare metal powder coat before I bought it and they managed to do a very good job of the grey and white, the decals cover the areas where it should fade.

thanks guys is there away of finding out from the serial number if its a lx or dx
If someones got the image files that would be great

Re:

Yes there will be a way but I couldn't tell you how. Mark Sinnett might be the guy to ask.

The dx ha d a better tubeset.

Re:

What size steerer do you need? The DX I had was 1-1/4" threaded, I have no idea if they were all that spec or some 1-1/8" ?

I got mine cheap, P.O. had spray painted it and paint underneath was all beat up. I left it alone and built as a city bike, which was super fun and carried me on some great S24O adventures.

Later sold to a buddy, it's somewhere in Montana now.

IMO for yours any nice straight-blade fork will do, but something like a Kona P2 where the blades don't taper would look most correct.

Thanks for the excuse to post mine up:
