Hey guys, having issues sending a boxed bike to Germany, stats are:

149x80x21cm and 15.4kg .

I may be able to box it up smaller but not by much. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance, Tim

Give parcels2go a ring, they can advise. Most of the large items I've had from Germany have been by DHL.

Thanks mate, they won't ship on the current size and weight so I'll phone to see what they can do.

You need to get the length and girth combined below 3M.

Then you can send it parcelforce.

Cheers mate, going to do my best to repackage, it's a child's bike with 26" wheels so should be able to do it.

Cheers for all you help guys, I've managed to get the package down to 108x80x24 and 24.5kg, cannot get it smaller and most people still wouldn't take it. Thankfully TNT will although it's going to be £90 but does cover the full value.

So much easier selling bikes to a UK buyer ;) Really happy to hopefully be making a young lady very happy this Christmas with a wonderful bike though.

Two separate boxes and you get it sent for £21 a piece with £60 cover insurance included per box, extra cover available. That's with parcel force using a broker site (several available)
