What to do with my Kona explosif pro

Middle of the wheel to where the tube that the fork passes through above it meets the headset. The bottom edge of the frame tube that it.

And? Distance?

Re:

Really it should be the length excluding the rake. So draw a line from the axle perpendicular to the headtube line and measure to there...
385/390/400/405/410/415/420/...mm etc or do it in the good old retro inches way 15 1/4"

Which for a 1992 Kona would be the 390mm rigid 405mm suspension style forks.

Yes they later altered the fork around the next size of rigid, this allowed the longer suspension to be used (or reduce the rising effect of the 40mm currently being used)
Not sure how much was marketing or really needed.

And again they had an even longer front fork.
After this first adjustment though they just (according to Anthony who iirc got the info from kona) just lengthened the fork and shortened the stem till past the 90s.
Measurement are based on the ridged setup iirc as it's hard to account for sag and in use angles (they're not a static length..)
