Retrobike B.O.T.Y. 2006 is retrobikeguy’s Pace RC-100
We’ve had a number of excellent B.O.T.M.s over the past year and a half representing many different manufacturers, countries, materials and styles. Of all these outstanding rides the retrobike users have voted retrobikeguy’s (now retroking #1′s) Pace RC-100 to be the first ever Retrobike Bike Of The Year. Nice.

But its got fluo on it!!!
Congrats!

yeah fluro, but a great bike. And it gets ridden too. Who else could get away with yellow cranks, forks and stem?
A real classic, had my vote

What a beauty! I remember this bike from the opening spread of the “Freewheel” catalogue back in the early 90′s. Bullseye cranks, full XT, Maguras and square tubing! This was the stuff of dreams… even with dayglow yellow finishing kit.

I’ve just seen one of these in the flesh. Needs some TLC but hey…
If anyone wants to know where I saw it, drop me an email

This is what Retrobike is all about!
Some bikes in the ’90s REALLY WERE BETTER than the current crop. I can’t think of too many ’07 bikes at could easily keep up with the Pace.
Check out the relaxed geometry and tall head tube. WAY ahead of it’s time.
